COME & TRY singing with DUMFRIES CHORAL SOCIETY

"WOW, what a sound!" was what Jamie Brand, Choral Conductor, exclaimed to the singers at the first 'Come & Try' session at Dumfries Choral Society's rehearsal when they sang the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah. The rich sound resonated around the room as singers came together from across the region to try out singing with the region's largest choir as they start to prepare for their next concert, Handel's Messiah, taking place in St John's Church Dumfries, at 7.30pm on Saturday 22nd November. It's not too late to experience singing this iconic piece when Dumfries Choral Society will welcome any past or new members to a second 'Come & Try' session this coming Monday, 1st September, 7pm for 7.15pm-9.30pm at The Bridge, Dumfries.
