Foundations of Calm Workshop

Interested in starting a meditation practice, but don’t know where to begin?
Want to learn evidence based skills proven to reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety, burnout, overwhelming feelings, and a variety of other symptoms commonly seen in most mental health diagnosis?
Maybe you are in need of a calming afternoon dedicated to self care.

Join me for my first workshop offered to the Moore County and surrounding communities.

Foundations of calm is a workshop open to the public, taught by a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
In this workshop we will learn introductory, beginner friendly skills related to mindfulness, meditation, and somatic practices designed to balance the nervous system, helping to relieve symptoms of stress and anxiety.

Please bring pillows, blankets, mats, towels, or anything else to help you be comfortable for this two hour workshop.

You do not have to be a client of Dumas Counseling Center to sign up.
Cost is $20 per person
This will be a small, intimate workshop. Space is extremely limited. You must pre-register to attend.
