Learn to Quilt: A Skill-Building Quilt Pattern Class
In this hands-on course, budding sewists will follow a thoughtfully designed quilt pattern to explore a wide variety of quilt block techniques. Students will gain step-by-step experience in creating a quilt from start to finish—including piecing blocks, assembling a quilt center, adding borders, quilting, and binding. By the end of the course, each participant will complete a beautiful 50" x 50" quilt to take home.
Students will learn:
-Fabric selection and design coordination
-Reading and understanding quilt patterns
-Cutting fabric accurately
-Piecing and pressing quilt blocks
-Adding borders
-Quilting techniques
-Binding and finishing a quilt
Pre-Class Preparation:
Students will need to shop for fabric and a few other required materials prior to the first session. A supply list will be provided upon registration.
