About the event

Poetry for the Page and the Stage: Exploring Grief, Loss and Power

Participants will hear examples of spoken word poetry and hone their own self expression practices to work towards new pieces to share. We will use sensation and memory to deepen the poetic creation process. And if desired, participants can practice speaking their work aloud.
