About the event

Boatloads of Fun
The Duluth Economic Development Authority announces its Boatloads of Fun event will be held in Gichi-Ode' Akiing (Lake Place Park), located at 214 E Superior Street, on Thursday, July 10, 2025. The event is from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM and will serve as a community viewing party for the Festival of Sail.

The Boatloads of Fun viewing party event is free to the public and provides a community space to watch the tall ships arrive, but also connect with retail, community, and food vendors, play yard games, and more.

“This event will really highlight the Lakewalk as a connector from eastern neighborhoods to downtown while increasing commerce and improving community engagement on our Lakewalk,” said Economic Developer Angie Stier.
