MoS100 Course Preview+Pre-Race Social!

Hey everyone! Mark your calendars! This is a free public get together for anyone interested in checking out the Mines of Spain 100 course before the race weekend in October. Runners of all speeds and abilities are welcome to join in for the event and run as much or as little of the course as they'd like. After the run, we'll be hosting a potluck/picnic/social at the start/finish (Louis Murphy Park) where we can all refuel, re-hydrate and chat about how much fun we're all going to have in October!!!

RUN DETAILS
Aid will be available around mile 10.5 at the Cattesse AS#2 location. We'll have water, Tailwind and some snacks for all runners. If the temps get hot, we'll also set out some water jugs around mile 4ish and 12ish by the Sauk Fox AS#1.

We'll have experienced trail runners familiar with the course leading pace groups so everyone can focus on enjoying the trails and the camaraderie of old and new friends alike. The trails will NOT be marked like on race day so please do your best to stick with a group or be open to exploring! The GPX file is also available to upload onto devices and the course can be followed in real-time on a couple different phone apps. Speeds for the groups will range depending on attendance but expect at least a few different paced groups for the full 20ish mile loop ranging from 3.5ish hrs to 5ish hrs and options to cut miles off to run less than the full loop if need be.

POST-RUN
We'll be providing some hot food options for everyone but please feel free to bring an appetizer/side/dessert potluck style! Don't forget a cooler of your favorite beverages to sip and to share!
