We're excited to host Napa Valley winemaker Jamey Whetstone for an evening at Aardvark!
Jamey has quite the resume and we're going to share some of his side projects with you. He was born and raised in South Carolina before moving to Napa Valley in 1996 and becoming a manager at the famed Mustards Grill that's still going strong today. Two years later, he'd begin his winemaking journey that included a long stint at Turley Wine Cellars under the guidance of Larry Turley and Ehren Jordan (Failla). He had a summer with legendary Burgundy producer Domaine Dujac as well. He launched his own brand under Whetstone Wine Cellars. His main line of wines aren't available in Ohio but we're bringing you some of his value-centric projects through our distribution partner EDV here in Columbus.
The tasting will be 6-8pm, taste at your own pace, for $20. Pouring will begin at 6pm and end at 8pm so please give yourself enough time to taste through the wines. You can pay that evening, but if you plan to attend, we'd appreciate your RSVP so we have an estimate. We'll have our snacks menu, you can order from JT's Pizza & Pub, or we encourage you visit one of our neighboring restaurants before or after the tasting. Thanks to Tyler at EDV for supporting this special event at Aardvark!
