Join local author Daniel Kopcow for a reading and Q&A regarding his latest romcom novel, 2025 Independent Press Award Winner for Best Romantic Comedy, Madcap Serenade. Daniel will be in conversation with local poet Stacey Murphy. A signing will follow the event.
Daniel Kopcow's short stories have appeared in dozens of literary magazines internationally and nationally including The Wild River Review, Silverthought, The Dirty Pool, Theaker’s Quarterly Fiction, The Duck and Herring Company, The American Drivel Review, Gold Dust Magazine, and Escape Velocity, among others. His short story, Brain Takes a Sick Day, was selected for inclusion in the Satirica anthology. His short story, The Cobbler Cherry, was included in the anthology, Thank You, Death Robot, which won an Independent Publishing Award for Best Science-Fiction and Fantasy and was named a Top Ten Fiction Novel by the Chicago Tribune. He is also the author of numerous novels and screenplays. He is a founding member of the Ambler Writers Group.
Stacey Murphy’s first poetry collection, Old Stones Understand (Shanti Arts, 2021), won a Royal Dragonfly Award. She co-edited NY Votes for Women: A Suffrage Centennial Anthology (Cayuga Lake Books, 2017), fostering her love of encouraging writers. Her poems have appeared in several recent anthologies, in the seasonal nature journal The Avocet, and in several online places, including
https://staceymurphy.blog/. Stacey is a member of the National League of American Pen Women. She enjoys finding connections with human experience in nature in and around the Finger Lakes.
