New to yoga or been away for a while? This is the perfect opportunity to get back into yoga. By using a chair for balance or seated poses you can take advantage of the many benefits that yoga can provide. These can include increased flexibility, strength, and mobility. Yoga can aid in increased circulation as well as body awareness and feelings of well being. By gently challenging your body with chair yoga, you can increase your range of motion, improve mobility, strength and balance at any age.
Chair yoga can be especially beneficial for people with arthritis or limited mobility and is a practice that is accessible and fun. Movement at any level can keep you motivated and provide feelings of accomplishment.
