17th Century Living History at the The Battle of the Boyne Visitor Center

Start your Heritage Week with a bang and join Laoch Living History at the Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre. See the Artillery Officer as he demonstrations the science of artillery and how a gunners work is never done. Meet the Musketeer and get up close and personal with the weapons of the 17th Century. Then meet and perhaps join the Drill Sargent hard at work with recruits from all over the world. After all that you should meet our Barber Surgeon and find out how he cured toothache and cataracts as well as a ghastly array of battlefield wounds. In the afternoon join the battlefield walk with costumed historian Tóla Collier. Heritage Week 2025 kicks off at the wonderful Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre this weekend at 11.00 AM. Costumed historians Battlefield walk at 14:00 as Laoch Living History brings more great history to life.
