Join us on Wednesday, October 15th at Fairlane Cocktails and Coffee from 6:00–8:00 PM for our 2nd Annual Halloween Costume Swap! This event is a fantastic opportunity to refresh your costume collection sustainably. Whether you’re looking for a new outfit for Halloween or just want to clear out your closet, this swap is for you!
Bring a costume, take a costume: Participants are encouraged to bring their gently used costumes to swap. Whether you have a child’s superhero outfit, an adult’s vintage witch costume, or anything in between, all contributions are welcome!

Costume Quality Guidelines:
To ensure everyone has a positive experience, please adhere to the following guidelines for costume donations:
Condition: Costumes should be gently used, clean, and free of rips, stains, or excessive wear.
Completeness: Please ensure all key components of the costume are included (e.g., capes, masks, or accessories). For costumes with multiple pieces, please ensure they are bagged together.
Size and Age Range: Label the size and age group (e.g., "Child, size 4T" or "Adult, size Medium") to make it easier for others to find the right fit.
Can I bring more than one costume?
Yes! Feel free to bring multiple costumes to swap.
What happens if I don’t find a costume I like?
Swapping is a chance to find something new, but there’s no guarantee. However, any leftover costumes will be donated to a local charity.
Do I have to bring a costume to participate?
While bringing a costume to swap is encouraged, it’s not mandatory. However, participants with a costume to exchange will have first pick.
What types of costumes are accepted?
We accept all kinds of costumes for all ages, including accessories like hats, wigs, and masks.
Can I bring costumes that are missing pieces?
Please only bring complete costumes or ensure that any missing components do not significantly affect the outfit (e.g., a missing hat from a witch costume is acceptable if the main dress is intact).
Is there a fee to participate?
No, the costume swap is free to attend! Just bring a costume, find a new one, and enjoy the community spirit.
What should I do if I have allergies or concerns about cleanliness?
All costumes should be freshly washed before being brought to the swap. However, if you have allergies or sensitivities, we recommend taking precautions, such as washing the costume again before wearing it.
