Pacôme doesn’t need an introduction. For those who are regulars in the Acro Conventions scene, he’s a staple, sharing from his vast and advanced skillset. His ample dancing background, knowledge of posture, and the shit loads of acro he knows make him a versatile teacher, who can offer a range of interesting and challenging content.
This weekend intensive is aimed at intermediate participants and the level can go as high as the group can take it. There’ll be mixed levels in the room so the group will be split at some point. The dance acro material is open level.

WEEKEND CONTENT
Pushing, pulling, jumping and catching. Let's have some fun with creative dance acro moves, mixing floorwork and partner acro and linking them into funky standing sequences. In the morning we will work individually on solo floorwork which will include postural work, in the afternoon we will be working in Duos or Trios and the focus will be on partnerwork.

ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Pacôme Coulibaly is a full time professional circus teacher and performer, with a love for acro and dance. He started his journey through movement with Modern Jazz. He found himself addicted to dancing and began taking classes of every style he could. Pacôme traveled extensively in America and Europe, learning from the best teachers around. He has cultivated an interest in and studied Pilates, Posturology and AFCMD (Functional and Corporal Analysis of Dance Movement) with the intention to further the mastery of his body and its functioning. During the Xtreme Convention in Antwerpen he did his first H2H, and decided to dedicate himself to acro. Since then he took around 1000+ hours of acro intensives with many world renowned teachers. In 2019, Pac stopped working in regular jobs to join the circus life. He took part on a 2000 hour programme on pedagogy, specialized in circus arts and acro. He currently works in circus Schools in Lille (CRAC and CBM) as a performer and acro teacher.
