The Onya Bike Jazz Band was formed in May 2014 to help raise funds for a charity function at the request of Mal Gaydon, who is the current trombonist with the group.
The members are all close mates and have been playing together in various Jazz Bands and groups in Toowoomba over the past thirty years or more. The Band plays mostly traditional and mainstream jazz, Latin, ballads, but are willing to please and try anything at the Toowoomba Jazz Club.

Mal, Al and Mark Nuss have been performing at the Toowoomba Jazz club for over 40 years in different Jazz and Big bands.
Mark Chalmers and Camillo are no strangers to the Toowoomba Jazz club and have been performing with different bands for many years.
Due to the unavailability of our usual Clarinet player, Bill Croft is our special guest performer on the Licorice Stick!
Bill Croft has been playing jazz since the British Revivalist era. He has played all around the world. Bill arrived in Brisbane just in time for a season at the Ekka, the Noosa Jazz Party and was at the very first Jumpers and Jazz in Warwick. He has brought his gift for entertainment to numerous Brisbane bands and venues. He now plays and resides in Warwick.

PARKING: Access the car park off Gipps Street or there are parks in front of the bowling green in Ball Street and access via the gate.
ENTRANCE: Up the steps from the car park on the southern side of the building or from the bowling green side. Disabled access ramp on the Western side (Gipps Street) and through the bar.
