KY BHA Peabody WMA Habitat Day

Join KYBHA for our annual workday at Peabody WMA on August 19th! We have annually make a great impact on this WMA, and we are headed back for more!

This year we will be doing a hack & squirt habitat project in conjunction with KDFWR foresters. We will be thinning understory vegetation in preparation for a large controlled burn later in the year. Plan to meet at Peabody headquarters on Goose Lake Road at 9:00 am, then we will drive to the work site. All equipment and safety gear will be provided, however you can bring your own hatchet if desired.

This is the first of several Peabody events planned over the next 6 months and we hope you can join us! It takes folks like you to really make a difference in conservation on our public lands! RSVP below so we know you're coming and we'll see ya there!
