Samhain Sound Immersion w/ Scot McClellan (In Person)
Samhain is an ancient Celtic celebration that marks the end of the summer harvest season and the entry into the dark winter season. At Samhain, when the veil between worlds is said to grow thinner, we are invited to pause, reflect, and honor those who have walked before us. This special sound immersion creates a sacred space to connect with yourself, your ancestors, and the memory of loved ones who remain close in spirit.
As we proceed into winter, we welcome the darkness knowing it gives us the blessing of rebirth. Samhain uses fire to represent destruction and rebirth, making it a tool for cleansing and igniting new beginnings. We see that every ending can lead to a new beginning. It is when we can view our mortality and appreciate the gift of life and the lessons it imparts. At this time, we can step into the unknown as we confront our fears. We ask for the guidance of our ancestors, looking for their guidance for the upcoming year.
The gongs, with their resonant and multifaceted tones, create sound frequencies that penetrate deep within your being, aligning with the natural rhythms of the season. As these powerful vibrations wash over you, they dissolve stress and release blocked energy. This sonic experience taps into the ancient wisdom of Samhain, a time for introspection and letting go, helping you to transition into a state of deep relaxation and inner peace.
Accompanying the gongs, the crystal singing bowls emit pure, harmonic tones that resonate with your energy field. These crystalline vibrations amplify the healing process, enhancing your sense of well-being and elevating your consciousness. As you connect with the energies of Samhain, the sound waves gently coax your mind into a meditative state, offering clarity, stillness, and a profound sense of renewal. A native Inuit drum, chimes, and Tingsha cymbals will bring grounding.
Samhain is a time of transformation, when the worlds beyond our own and the one we live within merges naturally together. In this sound journey, you may find stillness, remembrance, and gratitude for your path and the unseen threads that connect us all.
