Storytelling Workshop with Jennifer Munro

Master storyteller, Jennifer Munro, is bringing her workshop “Creating Stories the Matter and Make Us Smile” to Fox Valley this fall. Munro has told stories at festivals and schools across the nation, and she knows what makes a meaningful and uplifting story.

Presented by the Fox Valley Storytelling Guild and Fox Valley Folklore Society, Munro’s workshop will guide participants through the process of creating and shaping hopeful stories.

The workshop will take place at Tobias Music on August 30th from 9:00-1:00. Anyone who enjoys stories on stage, in print, or on screen is encouraged to register. Tickets are pay-what-you-can with a suggested amount of $35 and can be purchased on the Fox Valley Folklore Society’s website or at the door.

Since 1975 The Fox Valley Folklore Society (FVFS) has been supporting and promoting the Folklife Arts that form our collective cultural roots through 100 annual events held in the Fox Valley that borders Chicago’s Western Suburbs.
