Critique Night!

Ellen's Statement: "I consider myself fortunate to have spent much of my life involved in the visual art. After receiving undergraduate and graduate degrees in art from Northern Illinois University, I taught art in the public school system. Since moving to Wheaton, I again have had the opportunity to share this knowledge with a wonderful community of artists at the DuPage Art League. I have taught classes in fundamental drawing, figure drawing, portrait studies and pastel painting. Through the years I have provided demonstration and workshops for various regional art leagues and guilds. I have also had the pleasure of creating portraits of many area families.
I have studied with many wonderful artists that enriched my ability to “see” the world and express my own unique interpretation. This, along with the personal path I have taken discovering my own creative expression has resulted in a rich and rewarding journey. I belong to the Chicago Pastel Painters and the DuPage Art League."
