The STRONG Runner Series: Building the Bulletproof Runner

Join us at The Fitness Locker for our second workshop within the series if you've ever felt strong at the start of a run but broken by the end of a training block, this workshop is for you. In June, we shift from understanding injury to building resilience that lasts.

You'll learn what it really takes to become a strong, injury-resistant runner — starting with the essential muscle groups that protect and power your stride: glutes, core, calves, and hamstrings. We'll break down how to build a strength training routine that supports your running, not competes with it.

You’ll walk away with a six-week "Runners Strength" plan, designed specifically for runners who want to improve performance while reducing injury risk.

Expect a hands-on session packed with expert coaching, movement breakdowns, and training strategies you can apply immediately — whether you’re chasing a PB or just want to keep running pain-free.

Part 2: Strength Training Principles for Runners

Info: This section demystifies how runners should actually strength train — without burning out or interfering with performance. We’ll explore how to balance strength and run sessions, how much is enough, and how to tailor it to your training schedule.


Part 3: Coaching Clinic – Build Your Bulletproof Base

Info: This is the hands-on portion of the session. You’ll be coached through key strength movements every runner should master — from glute bridges to calf raises — with individual feedback to refine your technique and avoid common errors.
