Wanstone Rediscovered - Public Engagement Week

As our three-year Wanstone Rediscovered project comes to an end, celebrate our achievements with us by joining one of our special guided walks from Fan Bay Deep Shelter to the Wanstone & D2 gun batteries. See the gun emplacements, buildings and magazines and - NEW - two of the massive shells the guns would have fired.
Spaces limited. Booking is essential via the White Cliffs of Dover website https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/kent/the-white-cliffs-of-dover/events. Park at White Cliffs, then walk out and meet your guide at Fan Bay Deep Shelter at 11am. Normal parking charges apply; National Trust members can park for free. Tickets for the walk do not include admission to the Deep Shelter or Lighthouse, but these tickets can be purchased at each site on the day. Image ©National Trust/Clive Knott
