Planted during the 1970s urban renewal of Dover's downtown core, a maple tree in the garden is root-bound within the hardscape and showing stress.
Susan Hamilton- ISA Certified Arborist/ Founder of Port City Tree Care is donating her time and expertise to the community to rejuvenate this tree
An Air Spade will be employed to methodically remove excess soil, expose the trunk root flare, relieve compaction to promote optimal root development and aeration, and minimize the formation of girdling roots.
