New Moon Masquerade Ball

Join us for an evening of creative celebration as we welcome the New Moon and honor new beginnings in our healing-centered art space, located inside the historic building known as Pythias Castle. The Aplomb Project invites you to a Masquerade Ball that blends imagination, self-expression, and community.

A mask-decorating session will be held in the gallery two days prior, with traditional and unconventional materials. Drop in between 12:30 and 6:30 on Thursday August 21, with a workshop + party ticket. You are also welcome to bring a handmade mask from home. We encourage you to design something original that reflects your personality, mood, or story. We ask guests to avoid cultural or spiritual symbols that are not part of their own lived experience. Creative expression is encouraged, with respect for all. Desserts will be served, and drinks will be available by donation. We will have a vote for the most original mask, the most colorful, and the most unconventional! A quiet indoor room will be available for anyone who needs a break from the crowd, and our outdoor space will also be open for fresh air and reflection.

Free parking is available behind the building. Whether you are part of the Aplomb community or new to our space, we welcome you to join us for this meaningful night of connection and creativity. Your contributions help sustain our programs during our first summer open and directly support our mission of healing through the arts.
