Kids' Four Week Course: Famous Animals

Ages 7–12Mondays September 8-29, 3:30-5:30 PM with a pop-up exhibition Sunday October 5, 12-1 PM

$150 for four weeks plus exhibition

Join us for a month of creativity and inspiration led by Mari Companion. This is a course where we explore various animals from famous art works and media to create our own animal kingdom. We will be creating some 2d and 3d creatures. Come join us so for some roaring fun!

Aplomb’s trauma-informed approach ensures a supportive, inclusive environment where every child is free to express themselves through art. This course is perfect for beginners and budding artists alike.

All materials are provided. Just bring a snack, water, and your imagination!

About the instructor:

Marisa Companion is an artist and educator who earned an MFA from California Institute of the Arts (2011). She taught high school and tk-8 art in New Hampshire and California for the last 15 years.Art education is an important part of her practice, and art community outreach has helped inform the art she creates. Marisa’s work has been featured at Danforth Museum of Art, Framingham, MA, and Art Basel, Miami.
