ABOUT DAN BLAKESLEE
Maine folk troubadour Dan Blakeslee is equal parts musician, artist, and storyteller—and he’s no stranger to our stage. For over 30 years, Dan’s been making music and art across New England, blending early folk traditions with a touch of grit in his own unmistakable style. Along the way, he’s shared the stage with folks like Langhorne Slim, The Low Anthem, David Wax Museum, Lydia Loveless, The Lumineers, Old 97’s, Brown Bird, Josh Ritter, Death Vessel, and Kimya Dawson. In 2023, he landed a spot on the legendary Newport Folk Festival Main Stage—a milestone for any folk artist.
