TNC’s Roger Perry Preserve is an ecologically unique and important area, mixing eroded limestone with red cedars and wetland fens. This area is being threatened by autumn olive, a large deciduous shrub that outcompetes native plants while altering soil composition in a way that disrupts normal nutrient cycling. Please join us as we work to remove these plants from this unique landscape. There will be tasks for all fitness levels. Come and learn to identify these invasives, remove them properly, and help this unique landscape flourish! We will provide pizza.
Parking: There is no parking lot at the Roger Perry preserve. Please park along Sand Hill Road, but be sure to leave space for local traffic.
