‘PAWS ON THE LAWN’ DOG EVENT IS COMING!!!!!!!
Saturday, May 10, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.: DPD Paws on the Lawn Event
Please make plans to join us for a doggone good time on the front lawn of the Douglasville Police Department.
We are working hard to bring you a pawesome event! If you are a dog mom or dad this event is for you. Attendance of dogs and owners is free with proper paperwork.
This event is on ‘National Dog Mom’s Day’ but that includes you dads too!!
There will be food trucks, best outfit & trick events, along with photo opportunities and so much more.
There will be obstacle courses, food trucks, contests, animal-related vendors, photo ops and more.
All pup parents are required to fill out an application and waiver to show your annual shot records for the safety of all at the event.
There will be a sign in table and each pup parent will receive a band showing their paperwork has been submitted.
There will be a vaccine and chipping clinic by the Douglas County Animal Shelter in the parking lot (can preregister).
Although this is open to all pups of all sizes, ages, and breeds, it is important to state that
all animals must be leashed, under control by their handlers, and well-behaved on property.
We do reserve the right to ask you to leave if you cannot control your pup.
CALLING ALL DOG RELATED BUSINESSES AS VENDORS.
We are looking for vendors that sell anything animal related, especially dog, that can help with the fur families of the community.
New and repurposed items can be sold at this event. Vendor/seller fee is $25.
