Delvers' Guild: Immediate Recruitment for Critical Mission
A Threat Emerges Near Vordenth's Borders!
Exploration Scouts have reported the discovery of a substantial hobgoblin encampment within close proximity to Vordenth. Historical records paint these beings as both skilled mercenaries and ruthless raiders. Their presence so near our city cannot be ignored.
The Deepwardens, in their wisdom, have deemed this situation a top priority. We require experienced Delvers to undertake a critical mission to assess and neutralize this potential threat.
Mission Objectives:
Reconnaissance: Conduct a thorough scouting of the hobgoblin encampment, determining their numbers, defenses, and intentions.
Negotiation (Optional): If feasible, attempt to establish communication with the hobgoblins and ascertain their purpose.
Neutralization (If Necessary): If peaceful resolution is unattainable, eliminate the hobgoblin threat to Vordenth.
Intelligence Gathering: Collect any information regarding the hobgoblins' motives, alliances, and potential plans.
Resource Assessment: Determine if the encampment has any resources that would be useful to Vordenth.
Requirements:
Proven combat skills and tactical awareness.
Proficiency in stealth and reconnaissance.
Ability to assess and navigate dangerous environments.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to face potentially hostile encounters.

Interested Delvers are to report to the Delvers' Guild Hall immediately. Be prepared for an expedited briefing and immediate deployment.
We will need a field commander for this mission. When volunteering for this mission, please express your interest. The new Captain, Dain Rusk, will make the choice upon deployment of the mission. Any who volunteer for the role will be rewarded based on the success of the mission.

Seats are $10/person paid at Geekz Haven in Dothan, transferable with communication to either Geekz Haven or Jeremy Cote ( Game Master ) This will guarantee your seat day of game. There are 6 spaces available on a first come first served basis.

This will be a mission for level 3 characters. New players are welcome, but you will be given a premade character and it will be a bit faster paced than a beginner specific game.
If you are experienced in 2014 5E DnD, please feel free to make a character at level 3, using 2014 5E rules and point buy, but it will need to be submitted by April 24th. You can submit your character with a screenshot or picture in the discussion of this event. Even if you can’t make it to this game, your character will be approved for future games.
This mission will involve a mix of reconnaissance, negotiation (if possible), and combat.
Players should be prepared for potentially dangerous encounters and tactical challenges. At level 3, the training wheels are off, your character can die. The GM will always do their best to not let it be a bad death.
The mission offers opportunities for role-playing and exploration.
