Vic Cracknell Jazz Quartet at Guildford Institute

Enjoy an evening in the intimate setting of the Guildford Institute celebrating the music of the Great American Songbook.
Vocalist Vic Cracknell with Andy Sturmey playing the Institute's grand piano with Marianne Windham on double bass and Martin Pyne on drums. Swinging interpretations of classic songs written by Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, George and Ira Gershwin, Harry Warren, Dorothy Fields and many more. Vic will be sharing his knowledge about the songwriters and some of the great vocalists who have performed them including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Mel Torme, Tony Bennett and why contemporary artists such as Michael Buble, Gregory Porter and Laufey are still drawn to them.
