The rising Scottish keys player brings together an exciting quartet with US vibes master Joe Locke on four UK dates this July

Aformer Young Scottish Jazz Musician of the Year, keyboardist Peter Johnstone here leads a high-calibre band that includes New York-based vibes virtuoso Joe Locke, alongside leading Scottish saxophonist Tommy Smith and Johnstone’s Scottish National Jazz Orchestra colleague, Alyn Cosker on drums. The quartet plays music exclusively written by Johnstone which is also featured on its debut album, Resistance is Futile, which is release to coincide with the tour.
