About the event

Not For Keeps
It's the night of VE day and sisters Mary and Molly are going out celebrating. Mary, already married, meets a dashing American GI and the rest, as they say, is history.
This history is retold in Not for Keeps, a powerfully personal play written by Martinstown man Vince Jones who was the result of that romantic wartime liaison.
It's a story of families torn apart, mended and rediscovered and you can see it brilliantly brought to life by Dorchester Drama at Dorchester Arts on Friday, July 4 at 7.30pm, and Saturday, July 5 at 2pm and 7.30pm. Tickets are £14 plus concessions online, from the box office in person and on 01305 266926 and on the door before performances.
