Shared Reading - Launch Session

***NEW WEEKLY GROUP***

After our successful taster session in January, we are now pleased to announce the launch of our weekly Shared Reading Group here at Flourish!

It’s free to attend but please reserve your place for the first session to make sure we have space for everyone.

Each week we’ll read aloud a short story or poem. Everyone is welcome to share how the words make them feel, as well as their thoughts, ideas and memories. There is no pressure to talk or read aloud.

Everyone experiences what is read in their own way, but the shared language found in literature can help us to understand ourselves – and others – better.

Shared Reading in Doncaster is run in partnership with The Reader, who already host groups in libraries, care homes and community centres across the borough.
