Kids Mountain Bike Skills Class (beginner)

Beginners (recommend age 5-8 but can be older if they have lower riding skills) – wanting to learn and develop basic mountain bike skills in a fun way? A 2 hour session full of fun and games aimed at teaching new skills in the form of play.
For this class your child needs a bike suitable for riding on grass and off road (no electric bikes), they also require gloves and helmet (if you don’t have a helmet or gloves let us know and we’ll can provide a discount code for them from M Check Cycles) suitable/sensible footwear and clothing should be worn and if you child wants to wear knee or elbow pads that’s fine as well. Your child SHOULD be able to already pedal in a straight line, use their brakes and have an understand on how to turn their bike. These skills should have been OBSERVED BY THE CHILD’S GUARDIAN before booking this session. Our British Cycling Coaches have the technical knowledge to develop these skills in an off road environment. If you are unsure which group your child should join please ask.
