PCCQ Friday Group Ride

Established in 2012, PCCQ is one of Qatar's oldest cycling communities.

Originally founded by four Filipino cyclists, the group began with "lugaw rides" after biking sessions. Over time, some original founders relocated to the Philippines to start their new lives. The remaining founders, Mr. Jose Ello Lazaro and Mr. Arnel Alarcon, have continued PCCQ's legacy, welcoming new members to the community. In early 2025, PCCQ introduced a Philippine Eagle-inspired jersey featuring a new logo, symbolizing a fresh chapter for the club. The Pilipino Cycling Club has since expanded, with branches in Malaysia, Abu Dhabi, and Singapore, continuing its tradition of fun and social rides within Qatar's cycling community
