Are you a young professional?
Are you passionate about taking climate action?
Do you feel your workplace could be doing more to on climate BUT don't know where to start?
The Mates in Sustainability Network is co-hosting with WorkforClimate (WfC) to equip climate-conscious young professionals with practical tools to drive change at work.
In this interactive event, you will learn the tangible steps you can take to identify the role you can take in your workplace, how to find allies, engage decision makers and lead organisational change to take meaningful climate action where you work.
Our presenter, Lucy Piper is the Program Director at WorkforClimate, where she is helping build a global support system for corporate employees who want to push their companies to do more on climate. Through initiatives like the WorkforClimate Academy and the Employee Climate Action Network (ECAN), WfC is scaling inside-out change and equipping employees with the tools, networks, and confidence to lead.
Before stepping fully into climate work, Lucy spent nearly a decade building Intrepid Travel’s internal creative and publishing team from the ground up. I’ve led award-winning brand, content, and marketing work, always with a strong bias for impact and authenticity. Her background spans advertising, digital storytelling, video production, and behaviour change campaigns, and she still believe in the power of a good story to shift culture.
