Line Dance ALERT! This Thursday, September 4th we will be out at Ruhstaller Farm 6-10PM.
Come early to eat dinner, drink a beer, and perhaps meet a new friend or two. Tapps will be serving their delicious smash burgers and other hot sandwiches. Ruhstaller will have lots of great beers on tap along with ice cream at the front bar.
Beginners get there early! We get there early around 5:30 PM to set up and once we are ready to go, we warm up and teach easier line dances that you can learn on the floor while the music is playing.
Beginner Lesson at 6 PM followed by a beginner line dance social of previously taught dances.
Improver Lesson at 7 PM followed by line dance social of previously taught line dances
Improver Lesson at 8:30 PM followed by more advanced social line dancing of improver and intermediate dances.
No requests are taken the night of the social. The playlist is pre-determined by requests made a week in advance. We want everyone to dance as much as possible and we provide the playlist and youtube tutorials in advance for people to practice. Keep an eye out for the post with the dances to be taught and played.
A $5 donation per dancer is requested to support Mama Bears Fighting Childhood Cancer (MBFCC). MBFCC provides families with Hospital Survival Wagons and Clinic Carts that are loaded with essentials items that a family needs while caring for a child that is hospitalized or receiving clinic care for cancer. The goal is to alleviate the added stress of ‘what do I need?’, ‘how do I get it?’, ‘am I able to afford all this?’ during a time when a family’s life has been suddenly turned upside down and they must be at their child’s side.
