Battle of the Bands
SideStreet Bar & Grill, in partnership with AZLYN, is proposing a Battle of the Bands event designed to showcase local talent, drive attendance, and create a high-energy experience for both performers and the audience. The event will feature multiple bands competing live, with winners determined through a combination of audience engagement and judge scoring.
Purpose & Value
Promote local and emerging musicians
Create a community-focused, repeatable event
Offer bands meaningful exposure and performance opportunities
Event Format
Bands submit an original song for preliminaries (through our FB page)
5 select bands perform short sets (30 minutes per band, including setup and teardown)
Bands are judged on musicianship, stage presence, originality, and crowd engagement
The winner is selected at the end of bands sets
The entry cutoff date is April 18th.
