Mrs. Amber Britt Gentry
Meet one of Buckingham County’s finest — a dedicated educator, loving wife and mother, and proud member of our community.
A 2007 graduate of Buckingham High School, she returned to her roots to give back in the most meaningful way — by teaching. As a CTE (Career & Technical Education) teacher specializing in business, she brings real-world knowledge, compassion, and enthusiasm into the classroom every day. Her dedication earned her the title of CTE Teacher of the Year for 2025 — a testament to the lasting impact she’s made on Buckingham students.
Outside the classroom, she’s a devoted wife and mom to a daughter and son, and she finds joy in simple pleasures — baking, reading, and spending time with her family and their big, lovable dogs.
Right now, she’s facing an unexpected and difficult challenge: a diagnosis of aggressive breast cancer. While she undergoes treatment, we’re coming together to show her the same support and strength she’s given so many of us.
