🔔Posting a reminder:
Our annual family graveyard cleaning, auction and lunch will fall on Sept 27th this year. Prayer will start at 12Noon immediately followed by lunch & the auction. Those that can come help clean and set up please be there at 10-11am.
⏰ As a reminder for the upcoming years, this reunion will always be held on the Last Saturday of September at the Sherwood Family Cemetery. There has been some confusion on the date, so we are posting this as a friendly reminder.
🥘 Please be sure to bring a covered dish/dessert and anything that you think would be great for the auction.
🏷️ All home-goods are welcome for the auction, 🚫 just no clothing. Examples of things to bring are: Quilts, Throws, Bedding, Honey 🍯, Jams, Holiday Decorations, Kitchen items like Coffee Pots, Toasters, Pots&Pans, Air Fryers, Kids Toys, Costumes, items College & School age Students could use, etc… 🚯 Anything that does not sell, will need to be taken back with the person who brought it.
🤫 Silent Auction:: Please reach out to Rachelle Ray about Silent Auction Items. If you can let her know the Silent Auction entries before hand she can have a sheet created in time for you.
ℹ️ For those of you that do not know, this is held to get the family together, take donations and auction items out to raise money to keep our family graveyard clean and maintained throughout the year. We all appreciate everyone that makes the time to attend and participate.
🏦 For the family that are unable to attend (or any friends that want to support our family cemetery, financial contributions can be made at First Federal Bank
🚧 We are in a large need this year for donations to get some important Land Care done. The donations & money that has been raised has started to decline over the years & we really need to pull together to manage the upkeep. Doing this each year helps not only the maintenance, but prevents us from charging for plot reservations for the family that are buried here.
