The Pharoahs Car Club of Scranton (Pharoahs) is pleased to announce that the Circle Drive-In Theatre is the new location for their monthly Coffee & Cars events.
Located off the Scranton Carbondale Highway in Dickson City, the Circle Drive-In first opened in 1949. Their 2025 movie season opened on April 4th and their Sunday Flea Market season began on March 16th.
The Pharoahs are part of an international network of Pharoahs Car Clubs, which began in Modesto, CA, in 1948. These Pharoahs are the same club that inspired the youth in the cult classic movie, “American Graffiti”. It was a showing of “American Graffiti” at the Circle Drive-In last summer that started the conversation about their hosting the Pharoah’s Coffee and Cars events for 2025.
All makes, models and ages of cars are welcome at these events. Antiques, Classics, Customs, or just Well-loved vehicles may be brought out to be shown off and enjoyed by the community. It doesn’t matter what era, color, stance, or age your vehicle may be. The folks from the Circle Drive-In and the Pharoahs cannot wait to meet you and to check out your ride.
All Coffee & Cars events will be held in the Circle Drive-In parking lot, located at 1911 Scranton Carbondale Highway, Dickson City, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on one Saturday each month through September. The specific dates for this year’s events include May 3rd, June 7th, July 19th, August 9th, and September 6th 2025.
Refreshments will be available for purchase from the Circle Drive In’s Concession Stand during each event.
The Pharoahs are actively seeking new members from the local community. Additional information regarding club membership will be available at each Coffee and Cars event.
