Our "Sweet 16" 16th Annual Sweet N' Stickey in Dickey Rib Cookoff will be July 12th, 2025 at and around the Dickey Bar.
Dakota Inflatables will be there from 3-5 pm for the kiddos and the band Big Skillet from 7-11 pm for the adults, thank you Triepke Crop Insurance for funding the band!
All proceeds will be given to Hospice of the Red River Valley in memory of our loved ones taken too soon.
"For those loved ones we have lost, these helping hands have come at no cost. Even though your names are not on a list, know that you are truly missed."
Hospice has done a lot for our families around here and now is our time to give a little something back to a great program!
It is an all day event; if you would like to donate and enjoy ribs we will begin serving at 6pm for the public out of the Dickey Hall. It is free will donation; please be respectful and donate something if you are going to eat!
If you would like to cook ribs for the cook-off this year there is a $20.00 entry fee.
$20.00 will get you a Sweet N' Stickey T-Shirt/Tank and serving pans to turn in your finished product to both the People's Choice and Judge's Choice.
New this year - you will provide your own ribs. 3 or more racks of porks ribs. (St. Louis or Spare)
Ribs will need to be cooked, cut, and ready to present to judges between 5:15-5:30 pm.
You will need to provide your grill/smoker, utensils, and cooking items. We will provide electricity (if needed), judging baskets, and serving trays.
There will be Judge's Choice and People's Choice.
