2025 Food Scrap Fest

We are excited to host our annual Food Scrap Fest this Spring on Sunday, May 4th in celebration of International Compost Awareness Week! The event will be held from noon to 4pm at One Acre Farm, located at 18608 Wasche Rd, Dickerson, MD 20852. We hope you join us for tours of Our Compost Outpost® to learn about how we process food scraps into a nutrient-rich soil amendment as well as One Acre Farm's CSA program and what's in the ground this season!

Site tours will begin at 12:15 and 2:15. Discover the benefits of compost and best practices as a composter! After the tours, stick around to learn about how to garden with compost and purchase Farm Feast compost! This event is open to Compost Crew customers, One Acre CSA members, and the general public so we encourage you to bring a friend or neighbor!

Please note:

• Parking is limited - we encourage carpooling and joining the second session if you'd like to stick around for live music and food!
• No dogs are allowed onsite.
