2 Nights 2 Days Padma-Jamuna Boat Trip

An unforgettable boat trip from Dhaka to Dewanganj (Bahadurabad Ghat), then across the vast Jamuna and Padma to Mawa Ghat.
Proximity to nature, the taste of fresh Hilsa and the charming view of the historic Padma Bridge. With the train journey and local transport experience, it is a different adventure!
The trip:
• Staying on a boat at Bahadurbad Ghat at night and sleeping in the peaceful environment of the Jamuna.
• Enjoying the endless boat trip across the vast Jamuna River and the beautiful beauty of the river all day long.
• Visiting the historic Padma-Jamuna confluence (Aricha-Daulatdia).
• Watching fishermen fishing in the Padma River, buying fresh Hilsa of your choice and having lunch with that fish!
• Landing at Mawa Ghat in front of the breathtaking view of the Padma Bridge in the evening light.
Our traditional wooden boats are designed for a comfortable, though rustic, experience:
Structure A central 16-meter-wide section is covered by a solid bamboo roof, creating sheltered living space.
Living Spaces Each boat provides a gallery, a designated space for dining and possible relaxation/living, and a sleeping area with comfortable beds.
Sleeping Simple and essential, the beds are comfortable and fully equipped with clean sheets.
Bathroom A small but complete bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) is available. For convenience, the boats approach each other during navigation to allow all participants access.
Cuisine We ensure a good cook is on board, ready to prepare delicious, freshly made dishes adapted to satisfy.
Menu
Breakfast: Khichuri/Roti, vegetables, egg omelet, banana, cow/buffalo milk tea/coffee.
Lunch: Plain rice, vegetables, Dal, river fish (fish can be purchased from the river fishermen as per the guest's choice)
Afternoon snack: Negotiable
Dinner: Fried chicken/baked fish, cooked fish (which was purchased in the afternoon) Plain rice/parata/noodles, vegetables, Dal.
There will be enough hot water in the flask to make tea/coffee as desired.
What will be included in the package:
• Train ticket from Dhaka to Dewanganj.
• Accommodation on the boat for 2 nights (boat type and facilities can be discussed).
• Total 5 meals on the boat (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 dinner + 1 special hilsa lunch).
• Early booking is required to secure train tickets as per convenience.
