Step into the thrilling arena of clinical conundrums and diagnostic puzzles with Doctorâs Dilemma â the flagship medical Olympiad of the AFMC Carnival Club! This electrifying event challenges the sharpest minds to untangle perplexing patient presentations, decode clinical clues, and race against time to reach the right diagnosis.
đN.B: This is a team event. Each team consists of three members.
There will be two Phases
1.Phase A : 1st, 2nd & 3rd year medical students
2. Phase B : 4th & 5th year medical students

âĻī¸RULES FOR THE COMPETITION:
There will be two rounds: the first round is the quick quiz round, and the second round is the buzzer round.
â ī¸FOR THE FIRST ROUND:
Each group will consist of 3 (three) members.
The first round will have 30 Single Best Answer (SBA) questions.
Each group will have 20 minutes to answer the questions in the first round.
For each correct answer, participants will receive 1 point. There is no negative marking in this round.
Should a tie occur, negative markings shall serve as the tiebreaker in declaring the final victors
â ī¸ FOR THE SECOND ROUND:
The top six teams with the highest scores will be selected for the second round.
There will be 10 sets of questions, each featuring clinical scenarios and diagrams.
For each clinical question, diagram, or photo-micrograph, there will be 2 questions. Participants must press the buzzer individually for each question.
For each correct answer, participants will receive 10 points. For each incorrect answer, 5 points will be deducted. If a clue is provided, a correct answer will earn half points (5 points). If multiple clues are provided, the points will be halved with each clue.
The buzzer should be pressed only after the host completes the question and says "GO."
After pressing the buzzer, participants have 10 seconds to begin their answer.
If a team answers incorrectly, the question will automatically pass to the next team that pressed the buzzer.
A team that answers incorrectly will not get another chance to answer that specific question.
At the conclusion of 10 questions, the team with the highest score will be declared the winner
During the second round, a few questions will be open to the audience.

Participants will work in teams to solve questions across multiple disciplines, with the top teams advancing to a fast-paced buzzer round. Spelling precision, quick thinking, and teamwork will be the keys to success.

đ¯ RULES FOR THE 2ND ROUND:
1. This round will be conducted as a buzzer round.
2. There will be a total of 15 questions: 5 conceptual, 5 diagrammatic questions and
5 clinical scenario based questions.
3. For conceptual questions, 3 hints will be displayed. Participants answering on the first clue will earn 20 points, on the second clue 10 points, and after the third clue 5 points. A wrong answer in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd clue will result in a deduction of 10, 5, and 2.5 points respectively. Teams answering incorrectly will not be able to attempt further clues for that question.
4.For diagrammatic questions, a diagram will be shown with a question. Correct answers earn 10 points, while incorrect answers lead to a 5-point deduction.
5.For clinical questions, a scenario-based question will be presented along with three hints. The same scoring and deduction rules as conceptual questions will apply
6. Team answering correctly must then spell the answer using the keyboard. An incorrect spelling will result in a 2.5 point deduction.
7. Participants must press the buzzer only after the question has been completed and the word 'Go!' is announced. Pressing the buzzer before 'Go!' will disqualify the team for that question.
8. The team that presses the buzzer first gets the chance to answer. If they answer incorrectly, the other teams will get a chance until the correct answer is found.
9. The team with the highest points after 15 questions will be declared the champion. In case of a tie, the team with fewer negative marks will be declared the victor.

It is a scientific poster presentation event that invites participants to visually communicate medical and public health concepts. Participants are encouraged to design informative, evidence-based posters on selected medical themes, combining clarity, creativity, and scientific accuracy. This event aims to foster awareness, advocacy, and education through impactful visual storytelling.
RULES FOR THE COMPETITION :
1. A team should consist of 03 members. Each team can only submit a single poster.
2. The size of the poster should not extend more than that of a regular art paper.
3. Medi- Poster competition falls under creative poster. So, no digital posters or scientific research based posters are allowed.
4. There should not be any elevation in the poster.
5. There should not be any external inclusion in the art paper. Pasting or any kind ofattachments with glue, scotch tape & stapler is strictly prohibited.
6. Figures, Diagrams, Charts should be hand drawn.
7. A violation of the above rules by the participants will make their poster a diqualified one.
8. There will be ORAL PRESENTATION of the poster. Name / Collage name / Collage logo or any sort of identification in the poster is prohibited.
9. Participants are welcome to provide a title related to their poster topic.
10. If the number of poster will cross the limit of accommodation, then thereâll be a

Put your diagnostic skills to the test in Guess the Case event, a thrilling medicine-based Olympiad where participants solve intriguing clinical cases! This event challenges your medical knowledge, logical reasoning, and quick thinking as you unravel patient histories, interpret lab results, and deduce the correct diagnosis.
Who Can Participate?
4th and 5th year medical students
đī¸ SYLLABUS :
Medicine and allied subjects according to BMDC curriculum
N.B : Please study the topics from the authorized books of the respective subjects.
RULES FOR THE COMPETITION :
1. This is an individual event
2. Participants will compete in a written examination consisting of 30 clinically-oriented, scenario-based Single Best Answer (SBA) questions.
3. First 20 questions will be single questions based on individual clinical stems, carrying 1 mark each.
4. The last 10 questions will each contain a single stem with two sub-questions (a and b). Each sub-question will carry 1 mark, making these questions worth 2 marks each.
5. A total of 25 minutes will be allotted to complete all questions
6. Use of mobile phones, smartwatches, books, notes, or any form of electronic or external help is strictly prohibited during the examination.
7. The decision of the judges and organizing committee will be final and binding on all participants.
8. Participants are expected to maintain academic integrity and discipline throughout the event.

Itis a competitive academic event designed to challenge participants in the field of forensic medicine. Through a series of structured case-based scenarios and pictogram participants will apply principles of forensic medicine, toxicology and medico-legal investigation to solve simulated forensic cases. This Olympiad aims to foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deeper understanding of the role of forensic science in the pursuit of justice.

1. Format:
-The competition will consist of 30 questions.
-Questions will include case scenarios, pictograms, report analyses, and medico-legal reasoning.
2. Time Allocation:
-Participants will be given 20 minutes to complete all questions.
-Late submissions will not be accepted.
3. Scoring:
-Each question carries 1 mark.
-No negative marking.
-In the event of a tie, Negative marking may be considered for final ranking.
4. Conduct:
-Use of electronic devices, notes, books, or any form of external assistance is strictly prohibited.
-Any form of malpractice will lead to immediate disqualification.
5. Judgment:
