Sustainable Development.
The clock is ticking. Our planet is calling. And it’s time to answer.
Notre Dame Nature Study Club (NDNSC) is thrilled to announce EcoSpark2025, a dynamic celebration Decade of United Nations Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
From October 15th to 17th we’re turning up the volume on environmental advocacy with
two programs – Intra College and Inter College.
Under the powerful motto “The Science We Need for the Ocean We Want” we’re
challenging everyone - students, educators, and nature enthusiasts—to step up, speak out, and take charge. This is your chance to be part of a movement that doesn’t just talk about
change but makes it happen.
Why EcoSpark?
Our planet stands at a decisive crossroads. Rising sea levels, climate change, plastic pollution and the degradation of marine ecosystems are no longer distant concerns—they are immediate challenges that demand our attention.
EcoSpark 2025, an ocean-themed Earth Week initiative, is designed to be more than an event.
It is a platform to:
• Learn: Gain insights into the most urgent environmental issues, with a special focus on
the health of our oceans.
• Connect: Engage with dedicated individuals and organizations committed to
environmental sustainability.
• Act: Take concrete steps toward protecting marine life, reducing pollution, and inspiring
collective responsibility for the planet.
