In response to the recent traumatic events affecting students, Uttara Adhunik Medical College Local Committee is hosting a special awareness and training session titled “Care After Crisis: Helping Hands, Healing Minds”. This event is designed to empower students with practical knowledge and skills in both primary first aid and mental health awareness, helping them navigate emergencies and emotional challenges with confidence.
Event outline:
•Primary First Aid Training: Students will learn essential basic first aid skills including wound care, heatstroke,burn management, handling muscle cramp and sprains, choking relief and other emergency responses.
•Mental Health Awareness: A trained facilitator -
Dr. Lisanul Hasan, Resident Medical Officer & Quality Assurance Coordinator, Neuroscience & Psychiatry Hub Ltd
will guide students on recognizing stress, coping with trauma, and developing strategies to maintain emotional well-being.
•Interactive Sessions: Participants will engage in hands-on demonstrations, role-plays, and discussions to enhance understanding and practical application of the skills learned.
