TESOL Society of Bangladesh, in collaboration with Daffodil International University Conference is organizing a three-day international conference on the significance of bridging human-centered language education in the fast-paced era of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and social justice. Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers unprecedented opportunities for personalized learning but also risks exacerbating existing divides in access, equity, and cultural representation. A human-centered approach to language education—one that prioritizes inclusivity, empathy, and critical engagement—is essential, more than ever before, to bridge these gaps and foster meaningful communication across linguistic and socioeconomic boundaries. By centering human dignity and equitable participation, we can harness the power of AI while ensuring that language education remains a powerful tool for social cohesion, cultural preservation, and global understanding. This paradigm shift calls for collaborative efforts among educators, technologists, and policymakers to create learning environments that are both technologically advanced and fundamentally humane.
