The 1st Udayan Intra English Language Fest 2025 is not only an intra fest, it's a celebration of self-expression, confidence, and the endless potential of words. As the first ever event hosted by the Udayan English Language Club, this fest is the doorway to greater achievements.
This event has been designed to sharpen English communication skills. These engaging activities will foster confidence, build fluency, and broaden the vocabulary of the contestants. With opportunities to explore literature, problem-solving challenges, general knowledge, and anime, the journey will help every participant to become fluent in English.

đš English Olympiad: (A, B, C)
This segment is designed to challenge and enhance your understanding of the language featuring thought-provoking questions that test both knowledge and comprehension.
It will be a 30 minutes segment
Participants have to answer 50 Multiple Choice Questions
đš Spelling Master: (B, C)
To sharpen vocabulary, we've crafted a dynamic segment focused entirely on its enrichment.
Participants will face a series of scrambled words presented in creative and unexpected ways. The challenge is to rearrange the letters and form the correct words.
It will be a written-test where participants will have to rearrange 30 words where the letters are jumbled up.
The time limit is 30 minutes.
đš Storywriting (A)
Storywriting is a creative platform designed especially for our young learners. Participants will be given a specific topic and a set amount of time to craft a story. Whether it's heartfelt, humorous, or thought-provoking, each story is a chance to showcase originality, fluency, and the power of spoken word.
Participants will be given an easy topic to write an innovative story on.
The maximum time is 30 minutes.
Minimum 1 page must be written.
đš Turn the Coat (B, C)
In this unique segment, each participant will be given a topic and be asked to argue both in favor and against it, two minutes per side.This segment encourages participants to step into multiple perspectives, examine issues from different angles, and present balanced arguments with clarity and confidence.
Each participant will have 5 minutes in total.
They have to argue in favor of the motion for 2 minutes.
They have to argue against the motion for 2 minutes.
They will have 30 seconds of preparational time before both their speeches.
đš Anime Quiz (B, C)
Anime fans will go head-to-head in a thrilling quiz competition to prove who knows the most! From seasoned weebs to newbie enthusiasts, everyone gets a chance to showcase their knowledge and connect with fellow fans. Exciting prizes await the top scorers!
The quiz will run for 30 minutes.

đš General Knowledge & IQ Quiz (B, C)
Get ready for a thrilling test of wit and wisdom! This quiz covers it allâscience, literature, history, geography, current affairs, pop culture, and sports. Participants will face a mix of MCQs, short answers, and even a buzzer round.
With limited time, quick thinking and sharp instincts will be the key to victoryâplus a little luck to reach the top!
The quiz will run for 30 minutes.

đš UELC Language Championship (B, C)
Mastering literature demands knowledge, speed, and creativity which many aren't capable of doing. In this battle of minds, your quick thinking, listening skills, and writing will take centre stage. Are you ready? Only the sharpest will rise and claim the crown.
Each team will have 3 members only and must complete all three parts of the challenge:
Word Games â Anagram Race, Crossword Puzzle, and Scrabble Showdown.
Writing Task â Create critical, thought-provoking questions that reflect your perspective.
