HODs Kirk Work Walk

Join us for a Heritage Open Days architecture walk around the magnificent 19th century cloth warehouses of Dewsbury town centre.

The high tide of Victorian Dewsbury’s prosperity ebbed long ago. This walk will snake around the town centre past buildings mostly by Albert Holmes Kirk before arriving at his beloved 1899 arcade of bijou shops, which is currently being restored.
