TASK Kamerkoor A CAPPELLA!

On Saturday, 02.08.2025, at 16:00, the outstanding chamber choir TASK Thüringischer Akademischer Singkreis will be performing in the Lebuinuskerk in Deventer.

The concert will feature a wide variety of sounds and will include romantic music by Brahms and Mendelssohn-Bartholdy as well as Bach, Martin and Schütz.

In the more than 50 years of its existence, the TASK chamber choir has made a name for itself far beyond the borders of central Germany as an outstanding interpreter of old, romantic and new choral music. As a chamber choir, the TASK accepts invitations to major music festivals such as the MDR Music Summer, the Leipzig Bach Festival, the Bach Festival of the Neue Bachgesellschaft, the European Church Music Festival, the Ansbach Bach Weeks and the major concert halls and churches in Germany. Concert tours now regularly take the ensemble to all parts of Germany, including the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, as well as occasionally abroad. The TASK's impressive concerts have been recorded by radio several times and can be heard regularly on the radio alongside the works recorded on CD.

The singers, who come from all parts of Germany, are delighted to be able to present the program they have developed as a cultural event under the direction of Jörg Genslein and thus finally bring culture back to life.

Admission is free, donations are requested. We recommend €15 for adults and €10 for reduced tickets.
