Whiskey 101: Holiday cocktails

Join Mixology in the D for the holiday edition of our signature cocktail series, Whiskey 101! Whether you’re a seasoned whiskey enthusiast or just looking for something fun and unique to do in Detroit, this interactive mixology mixer is made for you.

Get ready for a fun night with Mixology in the D! You'll whip up delicious tequila cocktails, pick up some cool bartending tips, and dive into a bit of tequila history. Plus, our house DJ will keep the vibes going, making it the perfect mixer to socialize and have a blast with friends!.

During Whiskey 101, you’ll create two handcrafted signature cocktails you can easily recreate at home — and enjoy a third made by our mixologist based on your favorite of the night. Each guest also receives a welcome jello shot, recipe cards, light refreshments, and the signature sounds of our legendary resident DJ Santonio Echols to keep the vibe flowing.

Food will be available for purchase from They Say, so come hungry, come curious, and come ready to sip, stir, and mingle!
