The Detroit Public Library Author Series Committee welcomes author and activist Peter Putnam, for a discussion about his newest book, Talkin' Bout a Revolution: Growing Our Souls in the Time of Trump (2025, A Legacy Project). Peter's book explores various ways for individuals to find happiness by living their values and become their best selves through revolutionary acts. The title plays on a phrase coined by late Detroit social activist Grace Lee Boggs, who Putnam knew personally and was largely inspired by in his life.
Joining Peter in conversation is his wife, Julia Putnam, co-founder of the Boggs School in Detroit. Copies of Peter's book will be available for sale from Detroit's own !
This is NOT a ticketed event. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Questions? Email bXN1bW1lcnMgfCBkZXRyb2l0cHVibGljbGlicmFyeSAhIG9yZw== for help.
